本會以促進無人機應用發展、協助各類無人機教育應用為宗旨。 本會之任務如下：
一、 協助無人機應用於：各機關行號、社團法人、教育研究單位、商業組織、社會大眾等層面，並推廣協助落實科技教育。
二、依據現有法規，協助並促進無人機應用發展。
三、協助社會大眾對無人機的認識。
