🏀 Okinawa Basketball Exchange Camp 🇯🇵✨

Had an incredible experience in Okinawa collaborating with RBA Basketball! Observing the Japanese training style firsthand was truly inspiring.

A few quick takeaways from this 3-day, 2-night camp:

1️⃣ Unbelievable Discipline & Grit: Training hard in non-air-conditioned gyms with zero complaints and pure focus.

2️⃣ Team Spirit & Independence: Nearly 50 young athletes from Okinawa and mainland Japan bonded instantly—living, cooking, and supporting each other like a team from day one.

3️⃣ Respect & Gratitude: Admirable work ethic both on and off the court.

Huge thanks to Riot Basketball for hosting such a meaningful camp at an accessible cost for youth players. We are super excited for future collaborations, including hosting their girls' youth team in Taiwan this October for friendly matches! 🇹🇼❤️🇯🇵

Building coordination and true sportsmanship from a young age is the best gift we can give the next generation. We don‘t start them early just to chase wins on the scoreboard.

We truly believe that sports have a profound impact on kids, both on and off the court.

At Spartans, we use authentic American-style training and the CLA (Constraints-Led Approach) to teach kids how to make dynamic decisions, face adversity, and work as a team.
