🕊️ In Loving Memory of Krik Parrel

It is with great sadness that Olympia Curaçao Archery Association learned of the passing of our fellow archer and dear friend, Krik Parrel, following a tragic boating accident this past Saturday.

Krik was a valued member of our Olympia family. He shared our passion for archery, our camaraderie on the field, and will be remembered for the person he was both on and off the shooting line.

As Head Coach, I was deeply shocked by this heartbreaking news. Moments like these remind us that our club is much more than a place where we shoot arrows. We are a family, and today we mourn the loss of one of our own.

Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences go out to his wife Hilde, his children, family, and friends. May they find strength and comfort in the love and support that surrounds them during this difficult time.

Rest in peace, Krik. Thank you for being part of the Olympia family. You will always have a place in our hearts. 🤍

Yesterday marked an exciting milestone for our athletes.

The two archers who will represent Curaçao at the Grand Prix of the Americas – Second Central American and Caribbean (CAC) Games Qualifier in El Salvador officially received their National Team uniforms.

Wearing the national colors is more than just putting on a uniform. It represents dedication, discipline, and the honor of representing our island on the international stage.
