Yesterday marked an exciting milestone for our athletes.

The two archers who will represent Curaçao at the Grand Prix of the Americas – Second Central American and Caribbean (CAC) Games Qualifier in El Salvador officially received their National Team uniforms.

Wearing the national colors is more than just putting on a uniform. It represents dedication, discipline, and the honor of representing our island on the international stage.

We are proud to announce that Coach Morwenna Minguel-Meijer has successfully obtained the Level 3 Coaching Certification from World Archery, the highest coaching qualification within the World Archery education system.

Coach Morwenna was one of the few coaches from the Caribbean selected to participate in this elite high performance course, part of a regional development initiative supported by World Archery and Panam Sports, aimed at strengthening high-performance coaching capacity in the Americas.

Already holding the highest credentials within USA Archery (Level 4 NTS & Level 3 Trainer), this new certification further elevates the technical standard and athlete development pathway within our federation.

This achievement represents:
• A major step forward for archery on our island
• Stronger preparation for international competition
• Enhanced athlete development structures
• Continued commitment to excellence

We are proud to have leadership within our federation that continues to invest in growth, knowledge, and raising the bar. Not only locally, but across the Caribbean region.
