Dear Esteemed and Honorable Facebook Friends,
Today is Fathers' Day, and I want to take a moment to extend my heartfelt greetings and blessings to all the fathers on my profile and to those who have embraced this important role around the world.
In recent times, there has been a growing narrative that challenges the value and role of fathers. It can sometimes feel like society is quick to point out shortcomings rather than celebrate the incredible and priceless contributions that fathers make every day.
I never imagined, growing up, that we would see such a shift in how fathers and the role of fathers are perceived in the modern world. Despite these challenges, it is my humble opinion that the immense importance and positive impact of fathers should be acknowledged.
So, on this special day, I want to say to all fathers:
In the same capacity that the Priests of YHVH charged Joshua, I would like to urge you: Be strong and of good courage. Be not afraid, neither be dismayed. For YHVH your Elohim is with you withersoever you go!
Your role is existentially valuable, deeply appreciated and necessary for the lives of many individually, and also collectively, as the role of the father creates the pillars of a respectable and productive society.
You provide love, an equitable sense of justice and fairness, guidance, and strength, which are the foundations of a nurturing family, and by extension a thriving society. Stand proud in your commitment to integrity and equity, and know that your efforts are making a significant difference, despite the many contrary voices of the decadent westernized society, today.
Let's support each other, both fathers and mothers, (Male and Female) and uphold the values that define true character. Let's be sources of strength for the weak, wisdom for the younger generation, and compassion for those that need a helping hand. By doing so, we can impact the the world and give hope to those who may be isolated in the oppression of the world's unkindness.
Happy Fathers' Day to all the wonderful fathers who continue to shape the youths and uplift our world. Continue in your vows to yourself and NEVER be guided by the society's opinions.
Be strong, I say, and be of good courage.
With deep respect and gratitude,
Zane Pierre
