The Tobago Precision Archery Club wishes to congratulate our team that participated in the TTAF 2026 National Field Archery Championships in Claxton Bay, Trinidad over the weekend. Although most members of the team are new to Field Archery, they performed well bringing home six medals.

The Tobago Precision Archery Club wishes to congratulate our very own Anthurium Lewis on being appointed by the United Nations as one of their 17 Young Leaders for the SDGs from across the globe out of a total of 33,000 applicants from over 150 countries.

She will be representing the Caribbean and Latin American Region as the youngest ever appointed Young Leader for the SDGs.

Well done on your excellent accomplishment Anthurium, and we wish you the best on this new and exciting role. Continue to make Trinidad and Tobago proud!

The THA Summer Sports Camp brought numerous excited and quite competitive children to experience the sport of Archery. The camp was well executed being an overall success, which wouldn’t have been possible without the hard work from all of our coaches, camp coordinator, Sport Development Officers and support from the The Division of Community Development, Youth Development and Sport Looking forward to our next event. 🏹🏹🏹

Guyana to host CDC 2026.

Archery Guyana is also proud to unveil the official mascot for 2026 Championships: “Kai the Keen-eyed Kiskadee”.

A vibrant embodiment of Guyanese identity, Kai is a Kiskadee, a bird common to all parts of Guyana, widely recognised and admired across the country. Named in homage to Kaieteur Falls, one of the most iconic and powerful waterfalls in the world, a symbol of Guyana’s natural beauty and strength, Kai brings charm, focus, and vibrant energy to our proposed hosting.

Kai’s eyes are large, animated, and focused, symbolising the discipline and precision of archery.

“Kai reflects the spirit of the Championships, bold, keen, and unmistakably Guyanese” said local designer, Mr. Nicholas Hing.

With this exciting opportunity ahead, Archery Guyana extends an open call to all archers, partners, sponsors, volunteers, and proud Guyanese to come on board and help make the 2026 Championships a bold statement of what Guyana can offer to the region and the world.
