Today, students from the Trinidad and Tobago Unified Martial Arts Federation successfully undertook their Martial Arts (Karate) examinations under the Caribbean Examinations Council Physical Education (P.E.) programme.
These young individuals demonstrated commendable dedication, discipline, and perseverance in preparing for this important milestone, and we are extremely proud of each and every one of them.
We extend special recognition to the following students who completed their examinations this morning:
Jadon Wilson, David Livingston, Princess Delancy, Shanice Juman, Ariel Jack, Narissa Benjamin, Hannah Bhagwandeen, and Jahiel Douglas, along with twenty-eight (28) other outstanding participants.

Hello everyone, Today is one of the best days of your life. Take a moment to embrace it fully—find fulfillment, discover your purpose, and appreciate the beauty of simply being alive. Enjoy your life, because it is your unique gift to the world. Today is one of the best days of your life. No matter what you are facing, no matter what has happened before this moment, I want you to pause and truly take that in. Today is here. It is present. It is alive with possibility. So many times we wait for the “perfect day,” the “right moment,” or the “ideal situation” to feel happy, to feel fulfilled, or to feel like we are living with purpose. But the truth is, life does not wait for perfection. Life is happening right now—in this very moment. Take a breath and embrace it fully. Find fulfillment not in what is missing, but in what is already within you. Discover your purpose not as something far away, but as something you live through your actions, your choices, your kindness, and your determination. You are not here by accident. You are here with meaning. Your life carries value, and what you do with it matters—not only for yourself, but for the world around you. So I encourage you today: let go of fear, let go of doubt, and choose to live with intention. Appreciate the small things. Appreciate your journey. And most of all, appreciate yourself. Enjoy your life, because it is your gift to the world

ongratulations to all the students doing their SEA exams, and I want to say again to all the children of Trinidad & Tobago: we are so proud of you.
I mistakenly said there were 4,000 students, but I’ve since learned it’s actually 18,000 of you an incredible number. We salute each and every one of you and wait with bated breath for your results.
This is your time now to relax and enjoy your well-deserved break. Once again, congratulations to all.

Our Deepest Condolences
On behalf of the Trinidad and Tobago Unified Martial Arts Federation, we extend our heartfelt sympathy to the family, friends, and loved ones of the great martial artist Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa. Learning of his passing has touched us deeply. His spirit, legacy, and contributions to the martial arts community will forever live on. We will miss his presence and energy at our 2026 reunion at the Action Martial Arts Mega Weekend and the Action Martial Arts Hall of Honor.
May he rest in peace.
RIP, my brother.

For the first time in Trinidad and Tobago's history, the nation is led by an all-female trio: a female President, a female Prime Minister, and a female Leader of the Opposition.

All three leaders are accomplished law graduates from The University of the West Indies.

We proudly celebrate the Honourable Kamla Persad-Bissessar SC, who has just assumed office as Prime Minister, alongside Honourable Pennelope Beckles-Robinson, the new Leader of the Opposition, and Her Excellency, President Kangaloo.

Their achievement is a source of immense pride for The UWI and a testament to the impact of our outstanding alumnae.

Official Announcement
Postponement of the Pan Caribbean Martial Arts Championship – World Games 2025
The management of the Pan Caribbean Martial Arts Championship – World Games 2025 wishes to inform all athletes, teams, sponsors, and supporters that the event has been postponed to March 8th, 2026.
This decision was made after careful consultation with our international partners and safety officials, in light of the current geopolitical tensions between the United States and Venezuela affecting the coastline region near Trinidad & Tobago.
While we understand the disappointment this may cause, the safety and well-being of our international guests, athletes, and officials remain our highest priority.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your continued understanding and support. We look forward to welcoming you all to a bigger, safer, and even more exciting Championship in 2026.
