Last Sunday, our Black Belt Grading candidates from various dojos locally, and internationally, participated in a run/hike to Breezy Pines. They were accompanied by other Purple Dragon students, parents, supporters and loved ones. It was truly a great day, especially having the opportunity to workout and spend time with our purple brothers and sisters from Purple Dragon ATL and Purple Dragon Point Grey. We hope to spend time on and off the floor, with all the Purple Warriors that are coming to Trinidad and Tobago, for Purple Dragon's 50+2 Golden Anniversary and Black Belt Grading #147.

Practicing Purple Dragon martial arts promotes patience and persistence. Not everyone is at the same level of skill, but kids need to know that they can change and grow. A body is the one thing that everyone has that they can always improve. When you show kids that they can get better when they focus on improving their strengths and weaknesses, you provide them with higher hope that achieving goals are possible.

The rewards of Purple Dragon carry over into every aspect of the children's lives, like better study patterns and more mature behavior at school and play.
