Arsenal have been drawn against Bayern Munich in the quarter-finals of the Champions League, while Manchester City will play Real Madrid.

The Gunners will host Bayern at Emirates Stadium in the first leg, which will see England captain Harry Kane return to London.

Meanwhile, this is the third successive season City have met Real in knockout stages of the competition.

The first legs take place 9-10 April, with the second legs on 16-17 April.

FORMER BRAZIL & BARCA RIGHT BACK SENTENCED TO 4 1/5 YEARS

A Catalonia top court on Thursday found Alvsles guilty of s*xually assaulting a woman in a Barcelona nightclub in 2022, sentencing him to four and a half years in prison.

The 40 yr old, was first arrested in January 2023 after being accused of s*xually assaulting a woman in the bathroom of an upscale Barcelona nightclub in the early hours of Dec. 31, 2022.

He had remained in preventive pre-trial prison in Spain ever since, with a judge turning down regular requests for bail and deeming him a flight risk.

The case was heard over three days at a court in Barcelona earlier this month, with Alves changing his story for the fifth time shortly before the trial began.

At first, he maintained that he did not know the alleged victim. He later said he had met the woman in the bathroom of the club but that nothing happened.

The former Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain defender, when confronted with biological evidence, changed his version of events again, saying she had consensually performed oral s*x on him.

Last April, following the results of further biological tests, Alves admitted for the first time that he had s*x with the woman, claiming it was consensual and that he had lied to hide his infidelity to his wife.

The event was held on Tuesday evening at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, which will be the home of Antigua & Barbuda Falcons when they compete in the 2024 edition of the Republic Bank CPL – the Biggest Party in Sport.

A Media Release today from confirmed that the green light was given for repairs to be done on the Jean Pierre Complex

'Jean Pierre Complex is next on the agenda of the Sports Company of Trinidad and Tobago (SporTT) to undergo major refurbishment in Fiscal 2024.

Last month, SporTT received Cabinet approval to conduct the repairs needed to bring the 46-year-old facility up to standard and to satisfy safety requirements.

The works will cost an estimated $36,105,966.64.

This news will bring smiles to the faces of a number of sporting disciplines that have utilized the facility over the years !!!!!
