We’ve spent weeks clearing a trail that was created by Charles Bobb-Semple several years ago, connecting Chancellor to the Maracas Pillars.
The trail was cleared for a simple reason: to give you a gift. This isn't just a race; it's a sanctuary. It’s a place where you can leave the stresses of daily life behind and find yourself amid nature’s embrace. As you run, jog, or walk through this trail, let it be a journey for your mind as well as your body. Feel the weight of your worries lift with each stride. Embrace the tranquility and let nature’s beauty soothe your soul.
Research shows that spending time in nature can significantly improve mental health, reducing anxiety, depression, and stress. This trail is not just about physical fitness; it's about mental rejuvenation. It’s about finding a moment of calm in a chaotic world. It is with these in mind, that we chose to align this race with two significant Causes, namely Alzheimer's and Brain Awareness as well as World Environment Day.
