Yesterday we experienced something out of a dream and surely as close to heaven on earth as you can possibly get 💜🦜

It felt like standing at the end of a rainbow high up in the hills above St. Ann's, as we were surrounded on all sides and from above by the most beautiful array of plumage from hundreds of different rescued, rehabilitated and released parrots at the amazing Feathered Friends TT 🌈🦜

Being eye to eye with these incredible free flying and uncaged birds, was absolutely breathtaking in it's raw beauty and sense of rightness at NOT seeing these birds up close trapped in cages and living lives of quiet desperation as is typical of birds held in captivity.

Thanks to Yohan's passion and dedication over the past 10 years, he has singlehandedly rehabilitated and released over 100 rescued parrots and macaws back to their freedom in the skies over Trinidad's northern range and who return to live freely in the trees around his house because of the close connection that he maintains with each and every bird 👍🏽👏🏼💫

This incredible experience is a powerful reminder of why these birds should NEVER be kept in cages and deserve to live the life of flight that they were always meant to have. 🦜🙏🏼

I was so honored to give my Yoga Nidra and Sound Healing workshop Nada Brahma - Sound is God at the alcohol free Rise and Connect event with hosted by at last Saturday.

Before there was form, there was vibration.

Before there was language, there was sound.

Before there was seeking, there was the hum of the universe — alive, intelligent, and calling you home.

Nada Brahma — an ancient Sanskrit teaching that declares what mystics, healers, and sages across every tradition have always known: Sound is not merely something we hear. Sound is the very fabric of existence. Sound is God.

Moving into higher frequencies through sound, vibration, stillness and movement, we danced freely and in a space of judgement free connection. Being able to have fun and dancing without needing to be intoxicated is something that many people are unable to do due to feelings of insecurity or self-judgement.

Finding freedom through healing with sound, vibration and music allows us to move without inhibition and gives others the freedom to also express themselves, leading to higher states of universal connection where unconditional, universal love and joy flows.
