We gathered at the Chinmaya Ashram .tt to explore the limits and the purpose of our comfort zone. We understood and appreciated its role on our journey and from here we faced our fears, taking small yet meaningful steps toward becoming our most fearless Self.

In our group we appreciated that we are not alone and we have all that we need to be all that we are, we just need to tap into that part of ourselves that understands that…
Thankful for the space, the time and the commitment on our journey as we move onwards with less and less fear AND more peace and abundance ~ namaste 🙏🏽

We have a great weekend of activities planned including a moonlight supper, a special early morning meditation and a workshop to bring us together to celebrate our connections and to find courage to step out of our comfort zone with clarity and purpose.

We will face our fears together with power!

All meals will be vegetarian and will be prepared the Chinmaya Ashram and the Garam Masala restaurant.

This retreat will provide us with the tools to face our fears and step out of our comfort zone with clarity and determination making fear our ally.

Let our fears produce curiosity and awareness.

This magic will all take place at Chinmaya Ashram on Oct 3rd – 5th 2025.

Happy Father’s Day to all those doing the Dad job out there!

My Dad passed away last August and this morning I went straight into the kitchen to cook. My father loved to eat and as such he learnt how to cook as a young man. He was a great cook.

I realized recently that I don’t feel sad that my father is no longer with us, yet at the same time I do miss him and it does hurt to think that he is not here. But I don’t feel sad. I accept that he is on his journey, whatever that journey might be …

The realization that I did not feel sad and that it was ok not to feel sad came at the conversation last Thursday which I attended online whilst doing a pottery class with .elizabeth. The facilitators of both these sessions indulged me so I could attend both sessions simultaneously. Thank you Thank you .elizabeth , you have no idea how much healing came to me as a result of last Thursday evening. I went home with such lightness and vitality that night.

Opportunities for healing do happen whilst living with authenticity in the midst of authenticity and we are all connected far more than we realize.

Sometimes we can be very critical about how others parent but maybe we should begin to focus more on the good things that were done as there certainly were some great things.

Thank you Dad for being my Father. I learnt a lot about living, about being human, about fighting demons, about living large, about finding peace and ultimately, about dying which of course was the greatest gift of all.
