The final day is tomorrow

Trinidad and Tobago’s top amateur golfers continued their push for national selection on Thursday as the TTGA national team trials moved into day two at the St Andrews Golf Course in Moka. The event forms part of the qualification process for the 2026 Caribbean Amateur Golf Championships in the Cayman Islands, with the top six men and top four women earning spots on the national team.

Chris Richards Jr leads the men’s standings after a steady round of 71, maintaining his strong early form. Liam Bryden is second after posting 69, with Ethan Collier and Jereseem Boodram in third and fourth.

Zico Correia sits fifth, while Wayne Baptiste rounds out the top six. In the women’s division, Victoria Seenath and Elise Le Borde are tied at the top after matching scores of 86, with Hailey Layne third and Tori De Freites Baptiste fourth.

The trials continue at St Andrews before concluding at Chaguaramas Golf Course.
