Trinidad and Tobago Dragon Boat Federation

The Trinidad and Tobago Dragon Boat Federation (TTDBF) became the governing body of the sport of dragon boating in Trinidad and Tobago in the year 2007.

The Trinidad and Tobago Dragon Boat Federation (TTDBF) is committed to delivering to its members excellence in sports management, equity in access for all clubs throughout Trinidad and Tobago, to maintain and nurture the traditions of the sport, and to the continual promotion and development of the sport.

The Trinidad and Tobago Dragon Boat Federation proudly congratulates the South East Sea Dragons on their exceptional performance at the 2026 CANAM Championships in Montreal, Canada.

These young athletes rose to the occasion, competing against experienced international crews and making their mark on the world stage.

🥉 3rd Place – Under-18 Open 500m
🏅 4th Place – Under-18 Open 200m
🏅 4th Place – Under-18 Open 2000m
🏅 4th Overall – Under-18 Open Division

What makes this achievement even more remarkable is that this was the team’s first time racing both the 500m and 2000m distances.

Congratulations to the athletes, coaches, parents, and supporters who made this journey possible. Thank you, South East Sea Dragons, for proudly flying the Red, White and Black and showing the world what Trinidad and Tobago is capable of.
