Despite very windy conditions, new junior club member Zackary Gittens stepped up to the challenge last Sunday during flight training with experienced club member Andre. Showing great focus and determination, Zackary handled the demanding weather like a pro, proving he's ready to take on whatever the skies throw his way.

The Savannah Aero Concepts TT Model Aircraft Club (SACTT) is incredibly proud to see one of our own take the next step in his aviation journey!
Jeevan Bassant, a former member of the Fatima College Aviation Club and participant in the SACTT Build & Fly Program, has arrived safely in Canada and is preparing to begin his formal aviation training at Moncton Flight College this Tuesday.

Jeevan’s journey reminds us why we do what we do. From discovering aviation through model aircraft here in Trinidad & Tobago to now pursuing his dream of becoming a pilot in Canada, his journey is an example of where a passion for aviation can lead.

This is why we desire to see every young person with a passion for aviation given the opportunity to explore that dream, develop their skills and discover where it can take them.

Jeevan, from everyone at SACTT, we wish you every success as you begin this exciting chapter. Stay focused, work hard, keep learning and, most importantly, enjoy every moment of the journey.

It was another exciting afternoon at the field as our SACTT Juniors got some valuable flight time in with our instructor Sean!

From developing their skills on the controls to building confidence in the air, every flight brings them one step closer to their flight assessment and, ultimately, their first solo flight!

These young pilots aren't just flying for fun — they're developing focus, discipline, coordination and real aviation skills while having an absolute blast doing it!

The journey to SOLO is on!
