From the surreal landscapes of Cappadocia to the shores of Alanya, the first edition of the Anatolian Mountain Race has come to an end.

What began with a small group, a bold idea, and uncertain roads has become something real — built step by step, climb by climb, together.

The mountains tested every rider. The weather, the distance, the endless elevation — all of it demanded resilience. But beyond the challenge, this race became proof of something bigger: a shared spirit, a community, and a passion strong enough to turn a dream into a starting line.

Today, every finisher carries home more than kilometers and memories. They carry the story of the very first edition — the one that started it all.

This was never only about reaching the finish.
It was about daring to begin.

On the final day of the race, ongoing snow-blocked roads forced a change in the planned route, shortening the course by approximately 350 km.

Both riders left early in the morning from the same hotel, focused on making up the remaining distance and completing the final 300 km of the race as quickly as possible, with the goal of reaching the castle in Alanya.

The second rider, reaches the checkpoint at 15:23, after a night that tested every limit — snow-covered roads, deep mud, freezing temperatures, and hours without sleep.

Now, only two riders remain.
Still moving. Still chasing the finish line.

Before heading into the last 300 km, both riders took a short rest to recover and prepare for the final chapter of this race.

What remains now is pure determination. 🚴‍♂️🔥

Saturday turned out to be the toughest day of the race, with the riders battling through snow, mud, and freezing conditions almost all night long just to reach the checkpoint on Sunday.

With incredible determination and pace, ._trunt_ska keeps his lead position and arrives at the Karaman CP at 10:23.

After the unexpected turnaround at Maden Boğazı Pass on the opening day, riders faced the second major high-altitude crossing of the race — and this time, the mountains had a different kind of challenge waiting.

The leading two riders pushed all the way up to 2755 m in the Tarsus–Mersin mountains. But on the descent, deep snow slowed their progress and turned the section into a true test of endurance and decision-making.

GPS trackers lost signal in the remote alpine area, only reconnecting earlier this morning.

Further back, Iljuczonek Krzysztof decided to stop and camp at 1700 m before tackling the snow-covered climb and descent at first light today.

CP1 has been cancelled due to difficult conditions on route.

Riders are continuing their journey and are now heading toward the second massif of the race, the Ta**us Mountains massif (Tarsus / Mersin–Çamlıyayla region). They will gradually ascend to an altitude of approximately 2,700 meters, where challenging conditions are expected to continue, but the route remains open beyond this point.
