1 of the 1st photos of me starting out on my darting journey.

3 years ago throwing my dad in the house. Fast forward 3 years and I have won events hosted by Ruthless Darts, won 2 individual league games in Lisnagarvey Darts League and got the the final of our board in the pairs with my dad.

I'm currently in Turkey on a well deserved family holiday so will miss my league game tomorrow night but have currently won 2 darts games at our hotel 🎯🎯

Wow, I'm shocked never mind all of you. My dad is doing an update the next day and not nearly a week later 🤣

Last night saw the finals night of Ruthless Darts Flight Cubs league. We had 14 entries and played a round Robin to decide who made the ¼ finals.

I made it through my group winning both my games 2 0 not my best games but got the wins and over the line to top the group.

Into the quarter finals and up against a very strong opponent had to dig deep and got the win 2 1 pinning d8 to progress.

My semi final saw me come up against the winner of the most improved player over the last 8 weeks in Jaxon and it was a hard fought semi final. It was d8 to the rescue again as I hit it to get over the line again 2 1.

Onto the final and up against the winner of the league based on the 7 weeks and someone who has became a good friend on a Monday night in Jesse.

I knew from all our previous matches I was going to have to produce better than I had the rest of the night and thankfully I did just that. I won the bull and got to throw 1st and made it count with a 125 to open the game. Jesse hit straight back with a 85 and the crowd were going to be in for a great final.

I was able to get another ton in the 1st leg after Jesse got 1 of his own and took out 52 to win the 1st leg in 24 darts.

2nd leg and we both had some nerves creeping in with scoring dropping slightly but a 121 just missing the 180 and a missed dart at the bull for a 68 outshot kept me just enough ahead for me to take out 25 in 2 darts to win the final 2 0.

A great series and thanks to Ruthless Darts for running and thanks to all the senior Academy players for coming down last night to cheer us all on 🎯🎯

Roll on series 2 for more darts and more friendships made at the oche 💙🎯

The update for this week 🙈🙈

Hard game on friday night 😢 played the great "wee man" Raymie Williamson and what a game of darts he threw. Beat me 2 0 in 19 and 14 darts missing bull to win in 12 with a 180 in the leg. Great leg to be part of and hopefully 1 day I'll be chasing those legs down.

My band Lambeg Orange & Blue had a small pool and darts competition on Saturday and I got to the semi final before getting beat by eventual winner.... my Dad (he also writes these posts 🙄)

Onto Monday then and another final for myself and this week getting over the line for the win. Some steady averages along the way, a 162 opening throw in 1 leg with a 80 1st 9 ave 🎯🎯

Finals night is this Monday coming for the Ruthless Darts flights cub Monday club so updates on how I get on will follow early next week if my Dad remembers 🙄🙄

After my league win on Friday it was back to Ruthless Darts Monday night Flight Cubs.

Threw steady all night not losing a leg until making it to the final against my good friend in the league Jesse. Had some great games on route to the final with 1st 9s of 62 and 60 and a overall ave on the night of 50.26.

I finally got the win over Jesse winning 2 1 in the final with thanks to a 140 followed by a 137 on way to claim the final leg 🎯🎯

I go again tonight for Ballymacbrennan Darts Club in the Cup, my dad's competition tomorrow and then back to Ruthless on Monday 🎯🎯

Got my 2nd win of the season on Friday night 🎯🎯

Buzzing was an understatement. So thankful for the team to give me the opportunities to throw 🎯🎯

Ok so my dad has to do better updates 😡😡🙈🙈 throwing more recently for Ballymac and loving the opportunity in the Lisnagarvey Darts league 🎯🎯

Ruthless Darts recently restarted Flights Cub League and I've attended the last 2 weeks. Last week in my 1st week back I topped my group but got beat in the Quarter final.

Last night seen probably my best Darts in my young darting career 🎯

Group games were about the right average for my age with 2 games of 43.57 winning both then losing last group game with a 37.44 average. Into the Quarter finals and I started to relax and had a 1st 9 average of 62 and overall of 46.97 winning 2 0.

My semi final saw me win again 2 0 but my 1st 9 increased to 74.83 and overall ave of 55.67 🎯

The final saw me take on Jesse C who beat me last week in the quarters and earlier in the night in our group. My 1st 9 got better again shooting up to a high of 79.5 which included an opening 180 in the 2nd leg. This is my 1st 180 in a proper game 🎯🎯

Well done to Jesse on the overall win on the night, more points on the board for me in the league 🎯🎯

What an amazing 20 days of darts. Well done to Luke Littler on winning his 2nd and back to back world championship 🏆🏆

Over christmas I got out to 1 tournament on boxing day. Was drew against my Dad in the 1st round and he beat me 4 0 on his way to the last 8 🎯🎯

Watching tonight Luke seems to be afraid of wasps so think my darts name could be Andrew "The wasp" McCabe 🐝 he's only got the title for another 10 years anyway 🏆🏆

Few good things to happen since my last update...

Been continuing to attend the Ruthless Darts Championship Series at Bluebell social club on Wednesday nights. Can see progress in my games and have atleast got 1 game won in the last fee weeks. 💪💪🎯🎯

Have played 2 more games for the Ballymac Dart team, winning my 1st ever league game against the Whites. Team also won 7 3. Played again against Anvil and was unlucky with my doubles and team found doubles hard as we went down 7 3 🎯🎯

Last night I entered my 1st league competition in the Pairs throwing with my Dad. We had a hard board but won our 1st 2 games before coming up against Lee Neil and Ken Kennedy who beat us 3 1. Probably the best I've thrown on the big board and really enjoyed the night 🎯🎯

Will try keep the page more updated as the weeks go on 🎯🎯

Few weeks since an update but doesnt mean I haven't been out and playing on the boards.

Friday 17th October I threw my 1st ever game in the Lisnagarvey Darts league for my new team Ballymac 🎯🎯 very tough game against the Highway but was a great experience and loads of support from both teams.

On Thursday I got to head down to Bangor and go to Mad House Darts. An amazing place 17 boards and the food was unreal 🎯🎯

Didn't play on Friday against Benmore but hopefully get league game again this week coming.

Yesterday I got to enter the annual 557 Darts Day and again the support from all my family and those there was great. Result didn't go y way but again more Darts thrown and experience gained 🎯🎯
