🔥 Marmaris is burning 🔥

🆘 We need help to get emergency equipment, water, food, shelters, medical supplies.

Fires destroy but new Life comes after.

I beg you to spear any euro or pound you can to help Marmaris fight today and reborn tomorrow.

Fires started on the 29th of August. It’s a massive catastrophic event burning all the nature in this place I used to call my little paradise on earth.

💔 My friends, people like you and me, are inside the mountains, fighting against the fire with very little equipment, alongside the firefighters. They are exhausted, it’s been 7 days & 7 nights!!! They’re crying for help…

Half of the villages are burnt
Half of the forests are burnt
People are desperate…
Animals, pets and kettles are terrorized.

As I write today on the 4th of August, it’s been 7 days & nights that this horrific fire is spreading from one village to another through the forests.

🌳🐝 Wildlife is dying everywhere, trees, bees, they’re all gone in the burnt areas…

Villagers are evacuated by boat as roads are on fire.

Few helicopters and canadair planes are supporting us, we feel left on our own.

Marmaris is fighting for its houses, for its land, for its villages, for its animals…

My name is Cyrielle, I’m a French expat in Marmaris Turkey since 2017. This is my home, my friends, my community, my family.

🚨 This is my call to and in its deepest time of need.

We need to provide shelter and basic supplies for people without homes, support for all the helpers, medical and veterinarian supplies for people and animals… we need everything you can imagine after the fire has passed and left nothing but ashes and broken hearts

Any person who has every visited Turkey
Any person who is sensitive to helping animals in need
Any person who is willing to help other people in need
