CRAZY ISLAND windsurf and kite club Crazy Island is a board's sports club (kite, windsurf, SUP. Crazy island is kite and windsurfing club with accommodation, restaurant and private beach.

We are located on one of the windiest spots in Europe - Gökçeada island in the North Aegean / Turkey. The prevailing wind in summer is the well known Meltemi. We are open from the beginning of May till November.

By the time I reached the beach, a stone town had taken shape.
From a distance it looked like a mirage. Dozens of balanced towers, scattered across the sand between the sea and the dark summer sky.
I stood there wondering how long it had taken. Not just to stack the stones, but to arrive at a moment like this.
Seems somewhere between the windsurf lessons, the wind and the sea, something else unfolded.
Something that naturally grows in places like this.
A place where sport and nature do more than teach a skill. They create the space for curiosity, imagination, friendships, and the freedom to invent your own adventures.



Sahile vardığımda taşlardan kurulmuş o küçük şehir neredeyse tamamlanmıştı.
Uzaktan bir serap gibiydi. Denizle ağır yaz bulutlarının arasında kuma dağılmış onlarca taş kule… Her biri farklı, her biri kendi imkânsız dengesini bulmuş.
Orada durup düşündüm; bunu yapmak ne kadar zaman almıştı acaba? Sadece taşları üst üste koymak değil… Böyle bir ana ulaşmak.
Rüzgâr sörfü derslerinin, rüzgârın, denizin ve açık havada geçirilen sayısız saatin arasında başka bir şey de ortaya çıkmıştı.
Böyle ortamlarda kendiliğinden filizlenen bir şey. Çünkü spor ve doğa yalnızca bir beceri öğretmez. Meraka, hayal gücüne, dostluklara ve kendi maceralarını yaratma özgürlüğüne de alan açar.
