A little Fakeaway for your weekend dinner.. 🍔🧅🧀
This Vegan cheeseburger Mac is SOOOOooo GOOD! 🤤🤤🤤 & you can always swap out the vegan cheddar for the real deal and opt to have this with beef burgers too! But the vegan version is SUPER TASTY! 🤤🤪
Serves 4 and each portion is 510 calories, 24g protein, 39g of carbohydrates and 29g of fat.
Here’s what you’ll need for this one pot wonder! 🦸♀️
- 1 tbsp. of oil
- 4 Beyond beef burgers
- 1 red onion, diced
- 2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
- 2 tbsps. of paprika
- 1/2 tbsp. of chilli powder
- Dash of salt and pepper to your preference
- 2 tbsps. of plain flour
- 1 cup of oat milk
- 2 & 1/2 cups of boiling water
- 2 vegetable stock cubes
- 2 cups of macaroni pasta
- 150g of vegan grated cheddar
1. To a hot pan with the oil, add in the beyond burgers, minced garlic and diced red onion and mash to a mince like consistency, cooking on a low-medium heat with the lid on for 5-8 minutes.
2. Next, add in the seasonings, flour, oat milk, water and stock cubes and mix well cooking for a further 2-3 minutes.
3. Bring the macaroni pasta into the pan and bring to a boil before reducing to simmer and cook for 10-12 minutes. If you prefer your mac more ‘al dente’ then cook off for 8-9 minutes.
4. Stir through the grated cheese and once melted, bowl up your cheese burger mac and enjoy! 🧑🍳🤌
