AB Eğitim ve Gençlik Programları tarafından desteklenen "Ebru ile Engin Denizlere" adlı proje kapsamında Diyarbakır Kent Konseyi Gençlik Meclisi ile Gençlik ve Değişim Derneğinin katkılarıyla Diyarbakır’da “Averû Sanat Atölyesi” kuruldu.

Projemizin ana teması gençlerin kültür ve sanat faaliyetleri ile uğraşarak boş vakitlerini verimli geçirebilmelerini sağlayarak, geleneksel sanatların yeni nesillere taşınmasını sağlamaktır. Bu tema çerçevesinde geleneksel Ebru Sanatı'nın yeni kuşaklara aktarılarak yaşatılması, bu sanata olan ilginin artırılması, sosyal ve ekonomik açıdan dezavantajlı gençlerin hem sanatsal faaliyetlerle yaratıcılık kazanması hem de ilerde istihdam olanaklarını artırılması için çalışıldı.

Marbling Volunteers Group in Diyarbakır planned to make Marbling Course for 20 disadvantageous youngs with "The Vast Seas With Marbling Project" which lasted 5 months. The target group was selected from among young people living in disadvantaged socio-economic backround. Under the project conform to the original materials and techniques of traditional Turkish marbling on paper and other surfaces implementations, work done with history and philosophy of traditional Turkish marbling, materials used in the identification and preparation of marbling, the problems which were encountered at the beginning of the boat of ebru could be solved properly, issues was studied. By these studies, the target group's artistic development of the art of marbling provided as well as by providing the development of stress management, discipline, cohesion, and economic efficiency issues, their becoming involved in community life was facilitated. Due to a very challenging and costly the art of marbling art, remaining away from the art of marbling, with this project met. Furthermore, young people carried out the project within a program was effective on the personal development of young people to do teamwork and they organized an 'exhition' at the end of the project.
