Ten new dive computers were put through real-world testing by ScubaLab.
Divers evaluated the latest models during repeated dives at Devil's Den, scoring each computer for ease of use, screen readability, ergonomics, safety-stop performance, and log access. Every button press, alert, and display change was noted mid-dive, then ranked afterward.
To compare decompression behavior, each computer was also run through controlled chamber simulations, set to their most liberal settings, and measured side by side. The result is a clear look at how these computers actually behave before, during, and after a dive, not just on a spec sheet.
