We also want to take a moment to recognise our parents for the way they represent Shooting Stars FC. 💜
At Shooting Stars NextGen, we have a strict “no instructions from the sideline” rule. We know this isn't very common around here, but for us, it isn't about coaches wanting to be the only ones giving instructions. It's about teaching players to think for themselves.
Our coaches give reminders, encouragement and simple prompts like “look up”, “keep playing together” and “don't forget to defend”. We don't tell them every pass, run or decision to make. They need space to see the game, make decisions and learn from their mistakes.
We really appreciate that our parents give them that space. We hear far fewer instructions from the sideline, and that helps not only their own child, but every player on the pitch.
We are also very proud of how our parents behave when they see behaviour that goes against good sportsmanship.
Yesterday, across four matches, we had two situations. In one, our parents stayed calm and did not react. In the other, one of our parents calmly informed the organisers, and the situation was handled.
No shouting, no arguing, just staying calm, respectful and letting the organisers do their job.
As a club focused on the development of children, it really warms our hearts to see these values being supported at home too.
This is exactly why we have two stripes on our shirts.
One represents the player who shines on the field, and the other represents everyone standing behind them: parents, family and coaches. Standing beside each other with pride, respect and great sportsmanship. 💜✨

ที่ Shooting Stars NextGen เรามีกฎที่ชัดเจนว่า “ไม่ตะโกนหรือสั่งการจากข้างสนาม” เรารู้ว่ากฎแบบนี้อาจไม่ค่อยพบเห็นกันทั่วไปในพื้นที่ของเรา แต่สำหรับเรา กฎนี้ไม่ได้มีไว้เพราะโค้ชต้องการเป็นคนเดียวที่คอยสั่งนักเตะ แต่เพราะเราต้องการสอนให้เด็กๆ คิดและตัดสินใจด้วยตัวเอง
โค้ชของเราจะคอยเตือน ให้กำลังใจ และพูดสั้นๆ เช่น “มองขึ้น”, “เล่นด้วยกันต่อไป” และ “อย่าลืมช่วยกันป้องกัน” เราจะไม่บอกทุกการส่งบอล ทุกการวิ่ง หรือทุกการตัดสินใจ เพราะเด็กๆ ต้องมีพื้นที่ในการมองเกม ตัดสินใจ และเรียนรู้จากความผิดพลาดของตัวเอง
เราซาบซึ้งมากที่ผู้ปกครองของเราให้พื้นที่ตรงนี้กับเด็กๆ เราได้ยินการตะโกนสั่งจากข้างสนามน้อยลงมาก และสิ่งนี้ไม่ได้ช่วยแค่ลูกของตัวเอง แต่ช่วยเด็กทุกคนที่อยู่ในสนามด้วย
เรายังภูมิใจมากกับวิธีที่ผู้ปกครองของเราปฏิบัติตัวเมื่อเห็นพฤติกรรมที่ไม่สอดคล้องกับน้ำใจนักกีฬา
เมื่อวานนี้ จากการแข่งขันทั้งหมด 4 เกม มี 2 เหตุการณ์ ในเหตุการณ์หนึ่ง ผู้ปกครองของเรายังคงสงบและไม่ได้โต้ตอบ ส่วนอีกเหตุการณ์หนึ่ง ผู้ปกครองของเราได้แจ้งให้ผู้จัดการแข่งขันทราบอย่างใจเย็น และสถานการณ์ก็ได้รับการจัดการ
ไม่มีการตะโกน ไม่มีการโต้เถียง เพียงแค่รักษาความสงบ ให้ความเคารพ และให้ผู้จัดการแข่งขันเป็นผู้จัดการสถานการณ์
ในฐานะสโมสรที่มุ่งเน้นการพัฒนาเด็กๆ เรารู้สึกอบอุ่นใจมากที่ได้เห็นคุณค่าเหล่านี้ได้รับการสนับสนุนจากที่บ้านด้วย
