Below is a message from Craig Morgan with notes from the recent members meeting at the ACG and options for the road ahead.
Good day,
I hope all are well.
Once again, thank you to those that were in attendance yesterday as well as to those who excused themselves but asked for their suggestion to be raised.
Related to the PCG and moving forward, the consensus is that the PCG will become its own entity again, so we can focus on cricket and its rebuilding here on Phuket.
The PCG will move forward with the option to commit to pay 7,000.00 THB to the ACG per month for a contract length of 6 months (minimum) regardless of the amount of games played.
We this in mind, we have discussed and have come up with 2 options for memberships to the PCG.
Membership length:
6 months
3 September 2022 - 2 March 2023
(Review of situation on 01 February 2023)
Option 1:
- 2,000.00 THB upfront
- 100.00 THB per match
Option 2:
- 500.00 THB per month for 6 months paid on the 1st of each month.
- 100.00 THB per match
- Any default in payment will result in a non-member rate being charged until payments are up to date.
Non-member:
- 250.00 THB per match
Benefits of members:
- Priority selection for touring games
- Reduced match fee
- Free net sessions (50.00 THB for non-members)
We would require an indication of numbers as to who would join as a member as well as membership with either proposed Option 1 or Option 2.
Once an indication of numbers has been ascertained from our members, we will then be able to sit down and have an AGM where a committee will be selected.
If we could all respond by Friday, 19 August 2022 by 16:00 so that a decision can be made about the future of Phuket cricket.
