Is it hard? Yes. Does the language sometimes get offensive? Yes.
Often, people think a “yogi” should always be soft-spoken and serene. But here’s the truth: 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀, 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻’𝘁 𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴. When the language gets louder and more direct, it’s not just noise—it’s designed to wake you up in the moment. In yoga, being present is EVERYTHING. —
1. Absolute Freeze: (that’s called hatha yoga) Once the posture starts, you can’t afford to correct anything anymore. Stillness is key.
2. The 90-Degree angle: From the side, your arms and elbows should form a perfect 90 deg rectangle L-shape.
3. Belly Button: Only your belly button touches the floor—the rest of your body goes up into the air.
4. Drop the Shoulders: Keep your elbows close to your body and pull your shoulders down to maximize the stretch.
Listen carefully, stay locked in, and leave the distractions outside the room. ✔️ 👇
