Meet the Yellow Boxfish! 🐠

Bright yellow, box-shaped and impossible to ignore! The Yellow Boxfish is one of Koh Tao's most iconic little fish 👀

Its cube-like body protects it from predators and juveniles shine in a vibrant yellow colour covered in black dots, a warning signal to predators that they’re not worth a bite! When threatened, they can even release toxins into the water as a last line of defense 😤

It is easy to see why these cute little Yellow Boxfishes are an all-time favourite for divers and photographers 📸

Meet the King of our reef: The Titan Triggerfish 🤴

Quite literally, Titan Triggerfish give divers a warning when they are feeling threatened. Their ‘trigger fin’ is a dorsal fin that rises into an upright position in defense or attack mode. Be careful not to trigger them! 🚫
