🌳Notice of Green Mileage Programme Implementation🌳
At the Tokyo Marathon 2027, we will be collecting a donation of 2,600 yen, equivalent to 42.195km (26 miles) from participants, and will be used for reforestation and environmental protection efforts.
In addition to the donation to the Mastercard Priceless Planet Coalition we've been working on, we'll be carrying out a new initiative with Present Tree to reforest in Japan.

*The Green Mileage Program is a carbon offset program that contributes to the reduction and absorption of greenhouse gases (GHG) through activities such as running, and aims to achieve net zero by offsetting the emissions that cause global warming. For every 1 mile (about 1.6km) I run, I will donate 100 yen to green conservation efforts.

📣Announcement of the Green Mileage Program
For the Tokyo Marathon 2027, we invite all race participants to make a donation through the Tokyo Marathon Foundation “Green Mileage Program.”🌳
The Green Mileage Program is a carbon offset initiative aiming for net-zero emissions. By tracking activities like running, it helps reduce and absorb greenhouse gases (GHG) to offset the emissions that cause global warming. The initiative donates 100 yen (or $1 for international participants) to green conservation efforts for each mile run (approximately 1.6 km).
We are inviting donations of 2,600 yen (or $26 for international participants) matching the 42.195 km / 26 miles distance, from all participants to support reforestation and environmental conservation efforts.
