Chiho had a very successful tournament this past weekend & was able to win both 14’s & 16’s categories at just 12 years old. Very Impressive. Well done Chiho.

Chiho has also reached a UTR rating of 6.08. This is a fantastic achievement at such a young age! Congratulations!

Chiho has been representing Vantage Tennis Academy Phuket since it’s founding in September 2021.

It’s amazing to see how much Chiho has progressed as a player since we first saw Chiho back in September 2021. Chiho has a very unique game style at such a young age & Chiho will be a very dangerous opponent for anyone she competes against.

All this hard work & success could not have been achieved without the help & guidance on the tennis court & of the tennis court, Akira ( Father ) & Masa ( Mother ) you both are doing an incredible job with Chiho & her future in tennis is very exciting.

Vantage tennis academy is always here to support you Chiho! We are proud of what you are achieving & the player you are becoming.

Thailand National Championship - Masters - Nonthaburi

Alice Cardosi - Finalist - Runner up 🥈

10 & Under - 19th - 21st December 2023

Alice has had a fantastic week on the court in Bangkok. Playing in her first masters tournament.

Alice was able to win all three of her group stage matches in straight sets to finish top of her round robin group.

Alice then went onto win the quarter final & semi final but then eventually lost in the final to the number #1 ranked player in Thailand in the deciding 3rd set in a very high level match.

Alice has made big improvements in her game this year always smiling with a positive attitude and a great work ethic and talent to match.

Well done Alice!

Chiho Shirai - Quarter Finalist

12 & Under - Saturday 16th - Monday 18th December 2023

Chiho was competing in her second masters tournament this past week.

Chiho has great memories of this tournament as she was the champion last year in the 10 & under event.

Chiho was able to win two matches in the round robin group stage & lose one match. Chiho finished second in her group.

Chiho then lost in the Quarter Final she was beaten by a very strong player who then went onto win the tournament.

I’m positive Chiho learned a great deal in this tournament & will come back stronger next year to compete again as she has one more year left in the 12 & Under event.

Well done Chiho!

Both girls have done amazing on court both in practice & in competitions. We are very proud of you.

Exciting year ahead in 2024.

Vantage Tennis Academy Phuket

We would like to inform everyone of certain dates the tennis academy & courts will be closed over the Christmas & New Years holidays.

Here are the dates the tennis courts will be closed:

Monday 25th December - Closed

Tuesday 26th December - Closed

Sunday 31st December - Closed

Monday 1st January 2024 - Closed

Only these days we will be closed every other day the tennis courts & academy is open as normal.

If you would like to train or practice at vantage tennis academy over the holiday period then please contact us we are always here to help!

International Tennis Coaches - ( Non Thailand Citizens )

Foreign tennis coaches who have the correct working visa & work permit will be allowed to rent the tennis courts to teach tennis which enables them to earn money legally in Thailand.

If a foreign tennis coach is working illegally without the correct work permit & working visa then you will not be allowed to conduct a tennis lesson at vantage tennis academy. We will not support this.
