Apollo personal training 🥊

Go to the body. Finish upstairs. 🥊

The cross to the body forces your opponent to react and drop their guard — opening the perfect angle for the left hook to the chin.

Simple. Fast. Deadly when timed right.

🎯 Cross to the body
💥 Left hook to the chin

Train combinations that actually work.

🦵 Unilateral strength. Each leg works on its own, so a weaker side can’t hide behind the stronger one. Imbalances show up fast, and you can actually fix them

⚖️ Balance and stability. Your hips, knees, and ankles have to control every rep. That’s the same control you need when you land a jump or plant to change direction

🏋️ Heavy load, less spinal stress. You can load it hard with dumbbells while putting much less weight on your spine than a heavy back squat. That makes it great for building strength without beating up your back

Squats and deadlifts still have their place. But if single-leg work isn’t in your program, you’re leaving performance (and injury resilience) on the table

Talent is never enough. Obsession is what separates you. 🥊

You have to want to get better.
Show up when you’re tired. Put in the rounds when nobody’s watching. Keep going when your body tells you to stop.

Because when you want success as badly as you want to breathe — everything changes.

No excuses. Just work.
See you at Apollo Camp. 🔥

Combat sports aren’t only about how hard you train.

Recent research continues to show how closely sleep quality, rapid weight loss and recovery are connected to performance and readiness in combat athletes.

That’s why the hours between sessions matter.

Not less work.
Better work.

Train. Recover. Sleep. Repeat.

Strength vs. Power: do you know the difference? 💪⚡

Most people use these words as if they mean the same thing, but they don’t

Strength is your ability to produce force. Think of a heavy squat or deadlift: slow, controlled, maximum effort. It’s your foundation

Power is your ability to produce force quickly. Jumps, sprints, cleans, throws, any movement where speed matters. Power = force × speed

Why does it matter? Because in sport and in life, things happen fast. You rarely have 5 seconds to push something heavy, but you often have half a second to jump, change direction or catch yourself before a fall

Here’s the key: power is built on strength. You can’t express force quickly if you can’t produce much force in the first place. That’s why good training develops both: heavy lifts to build the engine, explosive work to teach it to fire fast

If you want to be athletic, you need both.

At Apollo Camp we train strength and power together, for every level.

We start October 1.
