If ever there was a need to run whilst on holiday, make sure it’s worthwhile, and get to the chopper!
While it may be an extravagance it was truly an amazing feeling soaring above the treetops, over bays and through the many, many islands and an experience I’m unlikely to forget.
Although it was slightly nerve racking hearing the engines fire up , and for a moment I wasn’t sure if it was my heart beating, or the thudder of the giant blades rotating inches above my head, but once we were off the ground it was all very smooth, allowing us to soak in the views. I felt in safe hands with our pilot as he proved to be very skilled and talented getting us close to the big Buddha statue and most importantly landing us safely.
If ever you get the opportunity to enjoy this experience I would grab it with both hands and take yourself for a spin, just be sure to hold on tight!
