🔧⚓ Copperband 1's Annual Makeover Has Begun! ⚓🔧

Every year, Copperband 1 heads into dry dock for her annual overhaul. It’s one of the most important parts of running a safe, reliable dive boat and ensuring every diver who steps aboard has the best possible experience.

Looking at her stripped back like this really shows just how much work goes on behind the scenes! From inspecting the hull and replacing worn timber to maintenance, repairs, and a fresh new finish, countless hours of hard work go into making sure she is ready to sail safely for another fantastic diving season.

🚤❤️ While she might not look her best right now, this is where the magic happens. Every scrape, every plank, every coat of paint is part of keeping Copperband 1 strong, safe, and comfortable for all of our divers.

We already miss you, Copperband 1! Come back from your makeover soon... bigger, better, and ready for adventure once again!

🐚 Yesterday’s dive gave us a very special surprise…

We were lucky enough to find these beautiful endangered Neptune sponges underwater yesterday! 💙

What makes this such an incredible find is that Neptune sponges were once thought to be extinct until sightings started appearing again in recent years. Because they grow extremely slowly and are very sensitive to pollution, fishing damage, and environmental change, they are considered an important indicator of reef health.

These giant sponges also provide shelter and habitat for many smaller marine species, making them a vital part of the underwater ecosystem 🌊

Even more important we beleive this may be a new discovery and the specimens we found (yes we found 2! Close by to each other) have not been documented before.

To come across 2 which are so large while diving is a rare and exciting reminder that our oceans still hold amazing surprises — and that protecting them truly matters.

Wow… what a year it has been.
From perfect calm days to crazy adventures at sea, this season has given us memories we will never forget 💙

A massive thank you to our Captain for keeping us safe, getting us home smiling every day, and somehow always finding the best conditions 🙌

Huge thanks as well to David and Peaw for their nonstop hard work, support, laughs, and dedication throughout the entire season. We truly couldn’t do it without you both.

And most importantly… THANK YOU to every single customer who joined us this year. Whether you came for one dive or many trips, you helped make this one of the best seasons we’ve ever had. The friendships, laughs, underwater moments, and shared sunsets are what make it all worth it 🐠☀️
