During covid lock downs I wrote an entire book on how combat sports athletes can build their brand, increase their value in the marketplace and secure lucrative sponsorship and fight opportunities.

I then turned it into a comprehensive step by step online training program.

Why did I do it?

It is a neglected area within combat sports. Athletes are missing so many great opportunities and don’t even know it.

It's time to put myself out there for criticism guys. I have been working hard on my Get Fight Sponsored program. It's very in-depth with all content being based on real-life experiences and success. I sent out messages to many fight gyms across the world offering massive exposure and a career boost opportunity for one of their fighters to feature in a documentary on huge mainstream TV channel. As always the fight game delivers and helped by doing their bit so thank you everyone for your awesome support.

But, I have to say the Jackson-Wink MMA Academy have been next level awesome. I sent an email and within 1 hour I had 3 of their fighters approach me with some really impressive and very respectful applications and more coming through even now.

This only demonstrates even more why the Jackson Wink MMA Academy is one of the very best MMA gyms in the world.

This was part of our counter strike against the calls from the British Medical Association to ban MMA back in 2007. I had the backing of some serious heavy weights in the world of sports science and needless to say, their attempt proved fruitless.

I get it, they’re a bunch of pen pushers who don’t understand combat sports or the passion we have for them. I also understand that they have the best interests of the fighters health in mind, but we know the risks and we still choose to take part.

If they did succeed we would only take it underground anyway.
