Scuba diving was in our itinerary but we didn't know the best people who can help us do it.
We had very less time to decide since we were already in Pattaya and the next day wasn't planned.
We walked into PADI store in Walking street and met Jenny and Angelika (Diving masters). They were very kind and explained us the agenda for the day.
We were asked be sober and to have good sleep to avoid being sick for diving.
We reached at 8:00am sharp and we were taken to a beach where the boat waiting for us.
The boat drove us far away from the shore close to coral islands. On our way we had an induction from Mr. Beat who motivated us to do it. None of us were swimmers.
He explained us the dos and the donts.
He also told what is "Doing it for yourself meant and not doing it for others".
Mr. Beat has more than 40 years of diving experience. He first trained us in the water, and took us deep inside the ocean for around 45 minutes.
We never got scared since he was always around. He took some amazing pictures when we were in the ocean.
Its not very easy to take pictures of inexperienced divers, yet he did a good job.
1500 bth was charged for the photos and videos, which i think is priceless.
Lunch was served, which was the only disappointment as the assortment was too less. But whatever was available, it was delicious.
We have another diver named Angelica who gave us tips on how not to dive, also not to forget Penn who was extremely kind in treating us so very well.
We tried fishing with other tourists, while they caught a few! :D
I strongly recommend "Pattaya safari Dive Centre" mainly because of Mr. Beat and PADI's hospitality.
You will come back with a great learning for a life time.
