MUAY THAI DTV VISA UPDATE! New document requirements for the Destination Thailand Visa (DTV) are set to take effect from 31 August 2026.

Royal Thai Embassies in London, Bangladesh, Myanmar and Laos have already announced the changes, with other embassies expected to follow.

New requirements include:

✅ Proof of permanent residence
✅ Police clearance certificate
✅ Original-language documents
✅ English translations
⚠️ Incomplete applications may face delays or a higher risk of disapproval.

If you are already preparing your application, applying before the new requirements take effect may mean fewer documents and a simpler process, subject to the rules of the embassy handling your application.
