Coach Steph Pagarigan I teach people how to make exercise fun and easy so that they can move and live life more freely.

Coach Steph is an NSCA-Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, an EXOS Performance Specialist, Precision Nutrition Level 2 certified coach, and an Exercise is Medicine Specialist in the Philippines. Coaching for more than 10 years, she has helped people of various conditions and fitness levels achieve their health and performance goals through exercise and training, education, an nutrition

counseling. She believes in lifestyle change and a holistic approach to health and performance for long-term sustainability. Besides her Sports and Exercise Science practice, she is also a research enthusiast and lifelong learner. From her bachelor degree in Sports Science to masters in Human Movement Sciences to her doctorate degree in Sports Science, Coach Steph, seeks to contribute to Philippine research for sports, exercise and health to help her fellow Filipinos live better, healthier and happier lives, one step at a time.

Reaccreditation is my proof of continuous practice in the field. It is also a critical reminder that what I know and do are for those I serve, and those who believe in me. I'm not even close to being one 'great' S&C, whatever definition that may be - in fact, navigating this in a completely remote setting in a foreign land while managing PhD and life away from home has been my greatest challenge to date. I may have heard some colleagues talk negatively about who I am and what I do - I get it. But as I was going thru the reaccreditation points I have gained I realize, there have been so much more - MUCH more people who believe in what I can do and my reasons for doing them, with the trust and faith no amount of money or award could ever match up to. My sincerest gratitude to my mentors - Coach Dan, Coach Sercia, Coach Jeff, and all who've placed their trust in me for mentorship, coaching, research and education. And to the rocks I stand on to keep my head above water, dad, mom, ak, doty, kreme - iiyak, susuka, pero di susuko.

I went home this Christmas break thinking it is my first legit break: no work, no studies, more time with family. After 1 year away from fam, I ate a lot, slept late mostly to bond with dad, worked out, enjoyed my time with our cats and dogs. Gaining weight and size didn't matter as much. Heading back to Thailand, I'm getting back to the regular routine I had. Recently, I joined in Coach .agcaoili's challenge, aiming for consistency. Mindset is a challenge for me after coming from last year's failures and difficulties.

Accountability partners (through Coaches Jah, Sean and Paul) will be really helpful. If you need some to, head on over to the Learn Legit Fitness group and we'll help you out.

Likewise, I'm also opening 10 coaching slots for those who need a workout and nutrtion habit program to follow. Program runs from Feb 1 to April 25. Comment below, "Let's go!" for more inquiry. 🫡 see you there!

1️⃣ Embrace your excitement but pace yourself. Growth isn’t a sprint; it’s a marathon. Consistency beats intensity every time.

2️⃣ Plan for recovery breaks—mentally, physically, and emotionally. Your mind and body need time to recharge for long-term success.

3️⃣ Dedicate today to self-care, reflection and planning. How have these first 5 days felt for you? What went well, and where can you improve for the upcomong week?
