⚽ Training Drill – 1v1, 2v1, 3v2 Duels with Finishing

We have prepared a training exercise that can be used in the training process for the following objectives:
- training 1 vs 1 duels;
- training 2 vs 1 situations;
- training 3 vs 2 situations;
- improving finishing after duels.

🧩 Required equipment:
- two goals;
- flat markers;
- footballs.

✅ Exercise description:

A playing area is set up as shown in the diagram.
Players B, C, and E each start with a ball.
The red team always finishes at the big goal, while the blue team finishes at the side goal.
Player E starts the exercise by dribbling into the playing area.
He is met by player A, and a 1 vs 1 duel takes place (E vs A).
After the first duel is completed, the exercise continues with a 2 vs 1 situation (players B and A vs player E).
Finally, after the second duel, the exercise progresses into a 3 vs 2 situation (players C, D, and E vs players A and B).
The coach will rotate the players’ positions periodically.
