One year of consistently working on myself ✅
Same “weight” different SHAPE 🔥
March 2025 👉🏻 Stuck in a cycle of dieting, “maintaining” for not very long, then dieting again. This cycle went on for about 3 years. When I look back, I was most likely dieting way more than I was actually maintaining. Energy levels were s**t, my skin & hair was awful. I knew something had to change!
Here’s what I did…
March 2025 - May 2025👉🏻 I completed a 12 week diet, to get as lean as possible
June - August👉🏻My calories increased to around maintenance while I managed a busy summer, including many meals out, nights out, holidays ect
September - November 👉🏻 Calories where increased again, slightly above maintenance with the goal of building more muscle
December 👉🏻 Calories reduced back to around maintenance to manage a busy social month and a 2 weeks holiday
January 2026 - Feb👉🏻 6 Week mini cut, to reduce body fat before going back into maintenance
March👉🏻Back to maintenance calories
And even after one whole year… I’m still not where I want to be
When I started this journey last year, I was prepared for the journey of building a strong ass body, to take me at least 2 if not 3 years (maybe even longer)
This journey is not based on how I look
This journey is me building a strong fit body, so in 10/20/30 years time, I’m a healthy fit 40/50/60 year old
This journey is about me building a body that requires more calories to maintain, so I can enjoy socials & holidays without gaining excessive weight (which is what always happened previously, and the reason I was constantly dieting!)
And I know for sure it’s working, because I went to Thailand at Christmas for 2 weeks and my weight stayed the same😏
I know for a fact, in a year or two time, people are gona ask me “wow, how did you do it” and that’s exactly why I’m documenting this journey
There’s no secret formula to getting results like this
It’s the same boring things, week in week out
But it’s what gets results 🔥
It’s a long journey to where I wana be, but the times gonna pass by either way, so I might as well be cracking on with it, and that’s what I intend to do 💪🏻
