‼️Meet Martina, instructor at DPM diving Gili Air ‼️

👋Hi I’m from Argentina but I was living in Spain and a four month trip around south east Asia brought me to find this amazing diving lifestyle 💙

🤿 I love teaching people how to dive because I like seeing how they discover this incredible passion and see them fall in love with the ocean.🌊

🐠 Her favorite underwater creatures are barracudas, octopus and finding nudibranch that I have never seen before.👀

The advice of Martina about learning scuba diving is to stay calm and relax, and simply enjoying been underwater.☺️

Say hello to REZA, 👋 an educator who traded the traditional Jakarta classroom for the vibrant currents of Nusa Penida to follow a lifelong calling.

🤿 Having dived since 2010 and served as a biology teacher and environmental researcher for Indonesia’s ministries, he now pours his soul into his role as an Instructor at DPM Diving. For Reza, every dive is a masterclass in nature, where he guides his students to witness the awe-inspiring complexity of the marine world, from the majestic giants of the deep to the intricate beauty of the microscopic creatures. 🦀

🪸Whether he is drawing on his years of coral reef assessments or helping a beginner find their buoyancy, his greatest reward is the fulfillment he receives from watching his students grow, learn, and fall in love with the ocean just as he did fifteen years ago. 🌊

‼️Meet Esteban‼️ Dive instructor at DPM diving Gili Air ☺️

👋I’m from Santiago, Chile. I discovered the underwater world at 12 years old in the cold waters of the Humboldt Current. Since then, every summer I try to spend as much time as possible diving and learning.

🤿I love teaching because I can transmit my passion for diving, marine life, and the environment. I feel that I have a good connection with people who are just starting with diving, and I love seeing the happy faces after a good dive.

🧐Actually, I’m a real macro nerd haha. My favorite animal in the world are nudibranchs and all the very small underwater life, but I’m also a big fan of big animals and reefs. I fall in love every time I see an eagle ray or a shark swimming in the blue.💙

‼️My advice for you is never stop being curious and always be humble. The ocean can surprise you in many ways, and the diving world teaches us how to become part of this world and be more conscious of the environment.

🏄‍♂️If I’m not at the shop, I’m probably surfing some waves or spending good times with my family and friends at the beach watching the sunset.☀️
