This transformation took 6 months to complete and resulted in 10kg of weight loss.

It was achieved by following a smart exercise program focusing on strength and hypertrophy (muscle mass) plus cardio to increase calorie expenditure and improve fitness. The diet wasn’t anything extreme - just a controlled total amount of food per day focusing on getting enough protein (around 160-170g per day) and eating mostly whole foods. Weekly refeeds helped energy levels plus an added benefit or increasing leptin hormone levels.

To achieve this type of transformation, most people want results too quickly, resulting in more extreme methods that end up causing a rebound in weight gain afterwards. If you take a structured, steady approach, results come easier and are easier to maintain afterwards.
