Fishing Holidays in Thailand do not get much adventurous than angling in one of the Kingdom of Siam's largest bodies of freshwater. Khao Laem Dam is a huge expanse of water over 60km long and 25km wide at its widest point. The carp fishing area is located in a wilderness area of unparalleled natural beauty amidst the hundreds of island situated at the northern end of the dam against a picturesque

mountainous backdrop. We also fish the river system from below the dam all the way down to where is flows into the sea at Samut Songkhram where we catch the worlds biggest freshwater fish the Giant Freshwater Stingray. Khao Laem Dam Fishing a subsidiary of Palm Tree Lagoon Fishery.

Tim and Benji went for a wild fishing trip to the vast expanses of Khao Laem Dam, and bagged up catching 34 giant snakehead and six yellow catfish

Tim and Benji ventured up to a dam near the Burmese border in April catching an awesome black ear catfish along with a lot of other small species like tilapia and yellow catfish.

Namwan took Ian Hill fishing in Khao Laem Dam in September. Although the big fish didn't show Ian still enjoyed the experience catching giant snakehead, java barb, tilapia, yellow catfish, nandid tiger perch, Smith's barb and tinfoil barb.
