WBC MuayThai Bermuda

Under the leadership of Chairman Chuck Morgan, Bermuda is one of only 17 countries that meets the requirements set forward to be recognized by WBC MuayThai for Amateur Athletes.

Bermuda is also currently the only Caribbean island to have won gold at WBC Amateur World Championships.

Bermuda joins a prestigious list of countries and provides local athletes huge opportunities to test themselves against the best Muay Thai amateurs in the world.

In the near future WBC MuayThai Bermuda will be rolling out several programs in association with WBC MuayThai to level up the quality of Muay Thai throughout the entire Caribbean.

We are a small but mighty island and our amateur athletes now have direct opportunities to grow the sport locally through international competition.

The Green and Gold of the WBC will shine bright on the pink shores of Bermuda.

The WBC MuayThai is proud to announce the Boxing Board of Control (the authority for MuayThai regulations in Thailand) under the Sports Authority of Thailand has officially ratified the WBC Amateur MuayThai rules and regulations for Amateur MuayThai tournaments.

The WBC Amateur MuayThai competition rules and regulations are the first to be ratified by the Boxing Board of Control of any MuayThai sanctioning organization registered in the kingdom of Thailand.

WBC MuayThai Bermuda is the only organization in Bermuda now ratified by the Sports Authority of Thailand to sanction Amateur and Professional Muay Thai bouts.

The future is bright for Bermuda’s Muay Thai athletes.
