Thailand's Tanapat 'Peng' Pichaikool gave himself a nice 25th birthday present with a hard-fought win in the Toyota Tour Championship at Kota Permai Golf & Country Club, closing with a round of 70 for a 17-under-par total to edge compatriot Sarut Vongchaisit by one shot.
Pichaikool picked up a USD15,659.96 cheque for his second Asian Development Tour victory of the year, moving up to third place on the Order of Merit with USD48,802.70. The tournament was co-sanctioned with Malaysia's domestic circuit, the Toyota Tour.
England's Ben Jones, the first round leader, was third on 14-under-par, while the best Malaysian finisher was Edven Ying in T8 position with an 11-under-par total.

Best buddies Sarut Vongchaisit and Tanapat Pichaikool carded third rounds of 66 and 67 respectively to jointly lead the Toyota Tour Championship on 15-under-par at Kota Permai Golf & Country Club.
With one round to go in the joint Asian Development Tour and Toyota Tour event, the Thai duo lie four strokes ahead of compatriot Witchayanon Chothirunrungrueng.

Thai players dominated the second round of the Toyota Tour Championship at Kota Permai Golf & Country Club, as Tanapat Pichaikool seized the halfway lead with a superb 67 for a two-day aggregate of 10-under 134.
One stroke adrift in joint second place were two more Thais, Nirun Sae-ueng and Sarut Vongchaisit, whose seven-under 65 was the low round of the tournament so far.
The MYR400,000 event is co-sanctioned by the Asian Development Tour and Malaysia's domestic circuit, the Toyota Tour.

England’s Ben Jones caught fire on a cool, cloudy day at Kota Permai Golf & Country Club to lead the the opening round of the Toyota Tour Championship with a six-under-par 66, setting the early pace in the penultimate event of the 2024 Asian Development Tour season.
In joint second place after rounds of 67 are Malaysia’s Daeng Abdul Rahman, Tanapat Pichaikool of Thailand, Laotian Thammasack Bouahom and Indonesia’s Rory Hie.

Asian Tour Destinations venue Kota Permai Golf & Country Club will host an enticing mix of established players and rising talents in next week's MYR400,000 (approx. US$91,000) Toyota Tour Championship.
The penultimate stop on the Asian Development Tour will play a pivotal role in determining the tour's final Order of Merit and the leading 10 players who will earn Asian Tour cards for 2025.
Co-sanctioned with Malaysia’s domestic professional circuit, the Toyota Tour, the tournament features a 144-player field that includes current ADT Order of Merit leader Rahil Gangjee of India, rising Pakistani player Ahmad Baig, and Malaysian number one Gavin Green.

11-time Asian Tour winner Gaganjeet Bhullar carded a third round 66 to top the leaderboard at the Black Mountain Championship on 19-under-par with one round to go. The Indian star leads the Asian Tour International Series event by two shots from in-form American John Catlin, who signed in a 65 at venue Black Mountain Golf Club in Hua Hin, Thailand.

Gaganjeet Bhullar’s game finally clicked today, after struggling this season, as he took the lead at the Black Mountain Championship.
