Great news for all the folks just starting, or still very new to, disc golf!

I am working on a SUPER short 9 hole layout that sticks to an easy area for walking in elevation. It will involve a safari set up on two holes, average length of about 50m, short par 4’s, and using most of the teepads already in place.

My biggest problem with adding short courses to longer layouts, is the walking! 🤣

I would have done this a long time ago but the course is so big and the walk time would have been longer than the play time 😆. What I’m creating turns the SUPER short 9 hole into a very reasonable walk, like it was made to be short in the first place. My other thing is wanting to keep it in the shade. Sticking around the front 9 area is well covered in trees.

Here’s the bag I am custom making 👀 this will be included in the “All inclusive” camping package for my New Year’s Eve event!

I am making this specifically for me and traveling. I prefer to fit my bag in my check in luggage when I travel and this bag will be made to fit much more comfortably in a suitcase. While still giving me room for a good size disc selection and storage.

Key features:

•13-15 disc capacity. Measured for 2 putters, 3 mids and 7 drivers. Making it 13 in the main compartment (or whatever combo comparable). With an optional zipper quiver on top for an additional 2 putters.

•Grip bag style straps with integrated top handle

•Ranger bag style top locker compartment

•Dedicated pockets for cellphone, marker, pens/pencils, 2 1.5 liter size water bottles, and miscellaneous.

•Back padding with secret pocket

•Custom RnR logo

•Available in black or grey/black

Kunnana Nathan Wongprasert drive on #18 long got me looking at the hole differently. The original reason I made this an island is for safety. To persuade your drive to stay close to the mountain side. This hole treads on to a big area of the land that is the most shared space with the rest of the business. Workers, customers, ATV’s, they all intersect here and it’s one of my BIGGEST importances to maintain the highest amount of safety I can.
That being said, as long as a little patience and etiquette is practiced, there might be a way to open up a little more fairway on #18.

There is a concrete path on the right of the water that runs the length of the hole. I wonder about making that OB, making only the grass areas inside that line “safe,” and all concrete hazard. 🤔 The only thing I can’t decide on is the mountainside…. Do I end the fairway after the island(?) or allow the mountainside to play safe? Would I make it OB? Or hazard? Do I keep it as a par 4 or does this make it too easy?! 🤷‍♂️

I’m down to give it a shot 🙌
