Please note that the Doi Suthep-Pui National Park announced the annual closure of the park to mitigate fire risk, from February 16th until May 31st. There are some exceptions for service zones, outdoor recreation zones , and special zones. It leaves a bit of room for interpretation, but it probably means that official trails like the Monk's Trail, and the Doi Pui/Hua Moo trail remain open while all other areas are off limits. While the announcement is not the clearest, make sure to abide by the rules and follow instructions of rangers.
With the temperatures rising and trails off limits, we'll also cut back on the group runs for now. But we'll be back in June for the new trail running season! 😎

"ห้ามเข้าไปในเขตพื้นที่อุทยานแห่งชาติดอยสุเทพ-ปุย" โดยไม่มีเหตุอันควร🚫
ตั้งแต่วันที่ 16 กุมภาพันธ์ 2569 - 31 พฤษภาคม 2569
ด้วยในช่วงฤดูแล้งระหว่างเดือนกุมภาพันธ์ - เดือนเมษายน ของทุกปีมักจะเกิดไฟป่าขึ้นเป็นประจำในพื้นที่อุทยานแห่งชาติ ทำให้เกิดความเสียหายต่อทรัพยากรป่าไม้และสัตว์ป่าอย่างรุนแรง เพื่อเป็นการแก้ไขปัญหาไฟป่าและฝุ่นละอองขนาดเล็ก (PM2.5) อุทยานแห่งชาติดอยสุเทพ-ปุย จึงขอประกาศห้ามไม่ให้บุคคลใดเข้าไปในเขตอุทยานแห่งชาติดอยสุเทพ-ปุย ในช่วงวันที่ 16 กุมภาพันธ์ 2569 - 31 พฤษภาคม 2569

หากผู้ใดฝ่าฝืนความผิดตามมาตรา 19(1) มีความผิดตามมาตรา 41 ต้องระวางโทษจำคุก ตั้งแต่ 4 ปี ถึง 20 ปี หรือปรับตั้งแต่ 400,000 ถึง 2,000,000 บาท หรือทั้งจำทั้งปรับ
