23/8 Shanghai B.W House x WMO China Regional Amateur & Pro Am Invitational
This invitational tournament was held in Shanghai on August 23, featuring 19 bouts in total.
All 38 Muay Thai athletes completed their fights safely and successfully, and the event was officially recognized by WMO Headquarters.
In the day’s headline Pro AM main event, Shanghai-based Thai coach Noiphan Nikhom faced off against Iranian fighter Sharifi Malk. Both fighters gave it their all from the opening bell, trading fierce exchanges. Noiphan Nikhom’s sharp footwork proved decisive — landing repeated low kicks within just 50 seconds — and he secured a first-round TKO victory in 1 minute.
This event further strengthens WMO’s ongoing development in the China region. Moving forward, WMO will continue to work closely with Muay Thai partners and promotions across China to help Chinese Muay Thai athletes bring glory to their country on the international stage.
