Thailand’s biggest tennis ball cricket spectacle delivered another unforgettable chapter as the 2nd edition of the TMS Cup, organized by Thai Malayali Samajam and open to Indians across Thailand, wrapped up after two electrifying days of cricketing action on 9th & 10th May.

From edge-of-the-seat thrillers to nail-biting finishes, this year’s tournament truly lived up to its billing — bigger, fiercer, and more competitive than ever before.

🌟 GRAND FINALE:
The much-anticipated final saw defending champions Hindustani Yodhas lock horns with the dangerous Bangkok Blasters in a high-pressure showdown.

Batting first, Hindustani Yodhas once again proved why they are the kings of TMS cricket, posting a fighting total of 49 runs in 4 overs with aggressive stroke play and composure under pressure.

In reply, Bangkok Blasters battled hard but the Yodhas’ disciplined bowling and sharp fielding kept them in control throughout, restricting the Blasters to 34/4 in 4 overs.

🏆 RESULT:
Hindustani Yodhas won by 15 runs

👑 BACK-TO-BACK CHAMPIONS!
With this commanding victory, Hindustani Yodhas successfully defended their crown and became TMS Cup Champions for the second consecutive year, cementing their legacy as one of Thailand’s premier tennis ball cricket teams.

Sea King Cricket Club (SKC) secured an important victory over British Club Pavilionaires (BCP) in the RBSC Invitational T20, successfully chasing down 141 with four wickets in hand.

BCP Innings: A Promising Start but a Quick Collapse

BCP, batting first, looked solid at the top with Sagar P (39 off 30), Ben E (26 off 20), and Tyrone B (21 off 20) providing a decent platform. However, after a steady start, they lost momentum as Sea King’s bowlers struck regularly.

Ram R was the pick of the bowlers, returning excellent figures of 4/18 in 4 overs, while Ramesh K (2/22) and Andrew B (1/26) also chipped in. BCP was bowled out for 140 in 18.5 overs, a total that seemed competitive but not daunting.

SKC Chase: Middle-Order Firepower Seals the Win

Chasing 141, SKC’s Ramesh K anchored the innings with a composed 39 off 27 balls, while Andrew B played a match-winning knock of 37 off just 16 balls, ensuring the team stayed ahead of the required run rate. Mohit U contributed a valuable 22 off 15 balls, keeping the scoreboard ticking.

BCP’s bowlers, particularly Sunish S (2/12) and Ravi A (1/29), put up a fight, but Andrew B’s aggressive innings tilted the game in SKC’s favor. SKC reached the target in 17.2 overs, finishing at 141/6 to claim victory by four wickets.

Winning the toss and opting to bat, Southerners CC posted a respectable total of 151/7 in their 20 overs.

• Habib S: A crucial 41 runs off 30 balls (Total Points: 57)
• Mudasir R: A steady 37 runs off 32 balls (Total Points: 59)
• Moinuddin H: Chipping in with a brisk 27 runs off 25 balls.
