Most of us has a desire to reach the goal faster. However, some of us don’t really care about the form even since the fundamental exercises, we don’t care about the form at all. Trying to correct the form will not only building up our strength, it’s also building up about our BODY AWARENESS. There’re many mistakes in front lever. So this picture shows about some of the common mistakes.

Top picture shows the hip is higher than the shoulder and the legs are slightly bending. This is lack of body awareness.

Middle picture mistake is the hip is lower than the shoulder. This form usually in the beginner level. It is ok for the progression but this is not the final pose. Generally, build up more strength for the lats and core.

Bottom picture is the correct final pose for front lever. Scapular is slight retracted, hip is same level as shoulder, knee locked out, and pointing out the toes will help us to keep legs activated. The line perfectly straight than the other form.

Which one is your currect form? Improve of maintain. CHOOSE.

Today’s topic is about Back Lever. Back Lever is one of the fundamental static pose in Calisthenics. It requires strength, mobility, and balance. However, some of us did it wrong or with unsual way. So below are the explaination about the Back Lever.

Top picture shows one of the common mistake we did. Our body is too much hollow body which is will end up with not in the straight line Back Lever.

Middle picture shows another mistake normally for beginner level which is our body is shrinking towards the floor. This position somehow will hurt our shoulder while holding it.

Bottom picture is the perfect posture for Back Lever. Our core is engaged at the right position which is will make our Back Lever perfectly straight. Squeeze glutes to keep it active. Pointing toes will help us to engage our legs correctly.
