Thailand GAA (Gaelic Football)

We are a Gaelic Sports Club in Thailand. We are based in Bangkok and play Gaelic Football, Hurling and Camogie.

Ladies & Men’s weekly training (Tuesdays at NIST)
Children’s training dates also with the Ellies 🐘

A great community away from home ☘️ We currently play in two tournaments a year in Asia. The South Asian Gaelic Games and the Asian Gaelic Games. The club is open to everybody from all walks of life. We are as much of a community as we are a sports club! Social events in connection with Gaelic Games are organised throughout the year.

Looking for your little one to try out Gaelic Football in Bangkok? Come and join our Thailand Ellies 🐘🏐

Training sessions are on Sundays at 9am in NIST International School 🎉

The sessions are aimed at children aged 5-16 years old and no experience of playing is needed. The dates are attached, if you need anymore information please message us 😃

Our first Cup of the season is in honour of our wonderful new sponsors, The Globe Irish pub & sports lounge 🎉

It’ll be a cracking day of Gaelic football, with in-house games being played through the day, along with hurling and camogie 👏🏼🏆

We also have some special guests visiting from Laos, the Mekong Shamrocks ☘️🇱🇦

Expect plenty of skill and friendly rivalry between both clubs, before we wrap it all up and head to the Globe for some well deserved drinks 🍺🥂

This will kickstart the season and the countdown to the Asian Gaelic Games 👀🇭🇰

Player Profile #60 — Lorena Halpin-Doyle

This delightful dub joined us with huge enthusiasm for playing gaa but also to push her passion for camogie. Following on from Aoibheann, she became our camogie officer and formed our first full team to play in the 2025 AGGS 🏑🎉

Lorena has brought so much energy, positivity and fun to every training session, match, social event, and night out. If there was a dance floor involved, chances are you’d find her upside down at some point doing handstands or cartwheels and encouraging everyone to get involved in the circus 🤸🏼‍♀️🥳

Now she’s heading back to Ireland with Ese and we want to wish them the best of luck on their next adventure. You’ll be greatly missed, but you’ll always be part of the Thailand GAA family ❤️
