Congratulations
We are proud to announce that Hans Yoong has been offered an entry to University of Notre Dame. Ranked 18th among the best universities in America (US News and World Report), UND is also the 2018 NCAA Fencing Champion.
The Notre Dame Foil Team boasts a list of current world class fencers such as Nick Itkin (2018 Junior World Champion), Amita Berthier (currently ranked 1st junior women foilist in the world) along with a renowned alumni which include Lee Kiefer and Gerek Meinhardt (both members of the US Olympic Foil Team). UND foil coaches are some of the most successful experts in the United States, including the legendary Bucky Leach (coach of the US Olympic Women's Foil Team, and one of Non's former mentors when he was in highschool!).
Congratulations to Hans Yoong. We hope he will excel academically, and take full advantage of this athletic opportunity at University of Notre Dame.
