🤼 Catch d’improvisation international à Singapour, samedi 19 janvier 2024 🎭

🤩C’était mon premier catch d’impro et ce fût une expérience extraordinaire !
Jouer devant la salle pleine à craquer de 240 sièges de l’Alliance Française de Singapour fût pour moi fort impressionnant, mais en même temps stimulant, galvanisé par les rires et les acclamations d’un public chaud bouillant.
🤼Un catch d’impro c’est quoi ? 🎭
C’est un affrontement amical entre des équipes d’improvisateurs sur des thèmes donnés par un arbitre. Comme son nom l'indique, il est inspiré par le catch. On y retrouve notamment les costumes extravagants de ce dernier et on joue sur un ring.
Notre équipe Improkhap était déguisée en Tortues Ninjas de Bangkok 🐢🥷. Du coup, j’en ai profité pour sortir quelques enchaînements de nunchaku et roulades 🥋 lors de notre entrée sur scène 😅
D’ailleurs, l’improvisation théâtrale, selon moi, c’est en quelque sorte les arts martiaux de l’esprit. Il faut avoir l’esprit vif et agile, être mentalement souple et flexible, et construire sur les mouvements de l’adversaire (en l’occurrence ici, les propositions des partenaires de jeu) 😉

😂 C’était un super show ! On s’est autant amusé.e.s à jouer qu’à regarder les superbes performances des autres équipes. On a autant ri que le public, emporté.e.s par les belles constructions d’histoires et les réparties fulgurantes. Une rencontre au top du top ! 🙌

🤼International Improv Catch Wrestling Match in Singapore, Saturday, January 19, 2024 🎭
🤩It was my first Improv Catch Wrestling Match, and it was an extraordinary experience!
Playing in front of the jam-packed 240-seat audience at the Alliance Française of Singapour was incredibly impressive for me, yet at the same time, it was exhilarating, fueled by the laughter and cheers of an enthusiastic crowd.
🤼What is an Improv Catch Wrestling Match? 🎭
It's a friendly improv battle between teams of improvisers based on themes given by a referee. As the name suggests, it's inspired by wrestling. It includes the extravagant costumes of wrestling, and the performance is played in a ring.
Our team, , was dressed as Bangkok's Ninja Turtles 🐢🥷. So, I took the opportunity to showcase a few nunchaku sequences and rolls during our stage entrance 😅
By the way, theatrical improvisation, in my opinion, is somewhat like the martial arts of the mind. It requires a quick and agile mind, mental flexibility, and building upon the movements of the opponent (in this case, the proposals of fellow players) 😉

😂 It was a fantastic show! We had as much fun playing as watching the superb performances of other teams. We laughed as much as the audience, carried away by the beautiful story constructions and lightning-quick comebacks. A top-notch encounter! 🙌
