"Need urgent advice! Which authorities can I report this to? 🚨
Aren't 'snacks' supposed to be light? You know, just coffee, tea, or maybe a tiny cookie? But look at this! The Mandarin Queen 9 serves THIS every single day, and they are terrifyingly punctual about it.
This is simply unfair! Lunch had barely settled, and suddenly... HERE WE GO AGAIN! 😱 I even tried hiding in the saloon to escape, but they still tracked me down to feed me!
I demand an immediate ban on the word 'Snack' for this boat. What should we call this meal instead? Please leave your suggestions in the comments.

"Are you tired of breaking your back every time you have to get on a small boat to reach a dive site? Hauling heavy tanks, climbing onto a rocking boat, and risking a slip and fall?
But say goodbye to that problem right here! Today, I’m showing you the super cool logistics system on the Mandarin Queen 9.
They’ve solved the transport issue using two dinghies with awesome names: 'Whale Shark' and 'Manta Ray.'
Their method is flawless. Take a look at the BCDs—they attach color-coded tags to sort the teams. If you have a Red tag, you head to the Manta Ray. If you have a Blue tag, you go to the Whale Shark.
Here’s the best part: the staff handles everything. They load all our gear into specific blocks on the dinghy for us. All we have to do is walk on board looking cool and beautiful—totally hands-free. No heavy lifting required!
It’s the same on the way back. Just take off your kit, leave it there, and walk back onto the big boat. Easy peasy.
From my analysis and observation over this entire 15-dive trip, I can tell you it’s spot on. Not a single piece of gear ended up on the wrong boat even once. Their system is incredibly accurate and safe.

Hey guys, did you know? This island is actually the closest one to the mainland out of the entire Similan archipelago!

If you’re driving past Khao Lak, take a look out at the ocean. That island you see in the distance? That is Koh Bon.

Let’s check out the popular dive spots here. Honestly, you can dive all around the island, depending on whether the wind is being kind to us that day. But for the standard, safe spots, take a look at the map in the photo:

📍 Spot 1: "The Bay"
This is the prime spot every boat aims for—first come, first served for the mooring buoy! It’s perfectly sheltered from the wind by the island's curve. Underwater, it’s mostly hard coral. It's an easy dive with zero current, making it the only dedicated spot for snorkelers too.

📍 Spot 2: "The Waterfall"
Want a Hollywood-style shot? Wait for the moment the water cascades down from the island rocks. The waves crash up and flow back down like a waterfall. From underwater, looking up, the crashing white water looks like an atomic mushroom cloud! It’s unique and absolutely stunning.

📍 Spot 3: "The Ridge" (West Ridge)
Usually, the current here is strong... it just depends on the day how strong! It’s the toughest spot to dive, with a high chance of drifting out into the deep blue. But... this is exactly where we usually encounter the Manta Rays!

📍 Spot 4: "The North Reef" (or The Hole)
This spot is on the other side of the island's ridge. It features hard coral, but the highlight is a massive field of coral rubble. You have to use your imagination to picture how grand it once was. It might look like there’s nothing there, but my core memory here is a "Whale Shark." I encountered one right here over the broken coral years ago.
